1. Emergency Roadside Dispatch
• Arrival Times: Quoted arrival estimates (e.g. 30–60 minutes) are targets provided in good faith and depend on live traffic conditions, weather, and incidents across the M4, M5, Severn crossings, and surrounding road networks.
• Roadside Safety: If you are stranded on a motorway hard shoulder or active carriageway, you must remain behind safety barriers where available. Technicians reserve the right to delay or abort fitting if on-site safety cannot be maintained.
• Cancellations: Once a dedicated technician van has been dispatched to your location, call-out and transit costs are non-refundable.
• Customer-Supplied Information: It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct tyre size and vehicle location. If a technician arrives on-site and the tyre requested does not fit the vehicle due to customer error, standard call-out and dispatch charges remain payable.
2. Pre-Booked Home & Workplace Fitting
• Slot Confirmation: Preferred dates and time slots submitted via our online form are requests and remain provisional until confirmed directly by our dispatch team via phone call, WhatsApp, or SMS.
• Emergency Priority Rescheduling: Because SW Tyre Man operates an active 24/7 rapid emergency service across motorway networks, pre-booked appointments may occasionally need to be adjusted or rescheduled if mobile technicians are held up by hazardous roadside emergencies. We will always communicate any schedule changes promptly.
• Driveway & Property Access: For home and workplace bookings, vehicles must be parked on flat, solid ground with sufficient space surrounding the vehicle for mobile tyre jacks and technician equipment.
3. Pricing, Deposits & Payment Terms
• Upfront Booking Deposit: To secure call-outs and allocate stock, an upfront deposit must be paid before a technician is dispatched to your vehicle. The exact deposit amount is determined based on the job requirements, factoring in dispatch distance, time of call (e.g. night/weekend emergency), and specific tyre specifications.
• Deposit Forfeiture: Once a technician is en route, this deposit is non-refundable if the service is cancelled by the customer or if incorrect vehicle/tyre information prevents completion of the job.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining balance of the total quoted price is payable on-site immediately upon completion of fitting via card or agreed payment method.
• Included Services: Quoted pricing covers the tyre, mobile fitting, standard rubber valve replacement, balancing, and environmental tyre disposal unless stated otherwise.
• Specialist Equipment: Vehicles equipped with electronic TPMS sensors requiring replacement or requiring locking wheel nut removal services may incur standard additional component charges.
4. Wheel Safety, Repairs & Liabilities
• Locking Wheel Nut Keys: Customers must supply the correct locking wheel nut key on arrival. We accept no liability for damage resulting from previously overtightened, corroded, or damaged wheel bolts/keys installed by third parties.
• Puncture Repairs (BS AU 159): Puncture repairs are carried out strictly according to British Standard BS AU 159. If a tyre is deemed unrepairable due to shoulder/sidewall penetration, run-flat driving, or internal carcass separation, a replacement tyre must be fitted for road safety.
• Pre-Existing Rim & TPMS Conditions: We are not liable for pre-existing cracked alloys, structural rim buckles, bead corrosion preventing an airtight seal, or seized/faulty TPMS valves.
• Wheel Retorque Notice: As standard UK automotive safety best practice, customers are advised to inspect and re-torque wheel nuts after driving approximately 30–50 miles following mobile tyre replacement.
• Warranty: All new tyres supplied carry standard manufacturer warranties covering material or manufacturing defects. Warranties strictly exclude road hazard damage (potholes, curbing, punctures, or uneven tread wear from suspension misalignment).
5. Online Booking Forms & Messaging Costs
• Free Platform Transmission: Submitting a dispatch or booking request via WhatsApp uses standard data / Wi-Fi and incurs zero service charges from SW Tyre Man.
• SMS Carrier Rates: If you choose to send your booking via standard Text (SMS), our dispatch destination is a standard UK mobile number (07xxx). SW Tyre Man does not charge any premium fee for receiving messages; however, standard SMS rates determined by your mobile provider may apply if you do not have inclusive text allowances on your monthly plan.
6. Location Data & UK GDPR Privacy
Strict Permission-Only Location Access
We never access, track, or collect your GPS location automatically without your explicit consent. Your browser or mobile device will strictly prompt you for permission ("Allow SW Tyre Man to access your location?") when you submit your dispatch request.
• Explicit Consent Only: Location coordinates are only retrieved if you actively click "Allow" on your device prompt. If you deny or dismiss the prompt, zero location data is accessed, and we rely purely on the address or junction you typed.
• Single-Use Dispatch Purpose: Coordinates are used solely to generate your emergency dispatch message (via WhatsApp or SMS) so the technician can navigate directly to your vehicle.
• UK GDPR Compliance: Customer contact details and invoice records are processed solely for fulfilling roadside services and statutory accounting/tax records in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018. We never sell, lease, or distribute customer details to third-party marketing networks.
7. Policy Updates & Amendments
• SW Tyre Man reserves the right to revise, modify, or update these Service Terms and Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice.
• Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted to this page, with the latest revision date clearly indicated above.
